The music I hope we’ll make you happy with has been fully arranged and partly composed by another giant of music — Hristo Yotsov — with whom we’ll share the stage.

I’m so grateful to the Burgas State Opera for making it possible for the music to be performed by the symphonic orchestra of the Opera House.

You will be able to become part of this unique experience on 29 August at 20:30 at the Burgas Summer Theatre. Conducted by Borislav Yotsov, stage performances will include Vasil Petrov, Hristo Yotsov, Jivko Petrov and Dimitar Karamfilov.

On 8 December — his birthday — I invite you to Hall 1 of the National Palace of Vulture where, together with Hristo Yotsov, we have arranged a programme featuring his best songs and film tracks to be performed by outstanding vocal and instrumental performers. Next to me on the stage will be the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band conducted by Anthony Donchev, the incredible trio — Hristo Yotsov, Jivko Petrov and Dimitar Karamfilov — Orlin Goranov, Bogdana Karadocheva, Vasil Petrov, Studio B, Borislav Yotsov, Nadejda Buchkova and Preslava Tsankova. The stage script and production of what — I hope — is going to be a fantastic performance are in the capable hands of Dimi Stoyanovich and Lachezar Avramov.

Words fail me to express my deep gratitude to the National Palace of Culture for making this a reality!

I look forward to seeing you and making this event a true music celebration dedicated to an extraordinary musician and human being!

Each of the four singers has her own signature and uniquely expressive style unmistakably recognisable by audiences. During their concert at the Festival they will perform several jazz plays selected by the performers and arranged for the concert in November by Hristo Yotsov. His reading of the compositions that reflect the preferences of Mira, Rony, Hilda and Beloslava, will transform the familiar and much-loved pieces into an inspiring experience for the audience in the hall and the musicians on the stage alike.

The concert will end with a joint performance of Mira, Rony, Hilda and Beloslava. Throughout the evening the will share the stage with Veselin Veselinov – Eco, Miroslav Turiysky, Hristo Yotsov and other guest performers.

How jazz multiplied by four will sound is something we will discover on 4 November at the Boris Hristov House of Culture.
