Symphomania is an art project aiming to revive interest in classical symphony and jazz music among broad audiences. It is financed by the BG 08 Programme Cultural Heritage and Modern Arts of the European Economic Area 2009-2014.
The authors of the Symphomania project are the outstanding Bulgarian musicians, composers and performers Hilda Kazasyan, Hristo Yotsov and Borislav Yotsov. Under their capable direction and involvement five concerts will take place in different towns across Bulgaria – Montana, Yambol, Pazardjik, Ihtiman and Kyustendil. The concerts will allow the residents and minority groups to become better acquainted with the achievements of European and world music culture and enjoy pieces composed by participating performers. Neon Iliev, Milen Kukosharov and — last but not least — the talented boys and girls from the Sofia Youth Philharmonic will take turns on the stage.
